MY JOURNEY TO NEW MEXICO and the Belen / Los Lunas area began in 1980 when a friend introduced me to a land developer in need of marketing packages for his land located just south of Albuquerque. The key words GREEN and SUSTAINABLE LIVING had yet to become common. As a professional photographer and video producer with a keen interest in the desert, I jumped at the opportunity. Upon arriving at the land in Belen located on top of a truly magnificent New Mexico mesa, I quickly decided that I had found my dream location.
It didn�t take long for me to move from the smog filled and muggy Baltimore /Washington DC area to the fresh, clean, and sweet air of the desert.
Over the years, I watched the Albuquerque metro areas grow to what they are today; being forever grateful for the chance to invest in such a dynamic landscape; an opportunity which still exists today. Now that the need for green and sustainable living communities can be clearly seen, the time is now right to move forward!
